Set A

Choose a fictional character to whom you relate.
How and why do you feel kinship with this character?
What have they taught you?

A fictional character that I relate to is Kat on the T. V. show Called the “Bold Type”. The show tells a story of three Bold women who work at a magazine company. Each women has their own niche, what they are bold about in their actual lives. Kat is a character that I relate to because of her jarring candor. She is the social media marketing manager and is very well known throughout the company. Whenever she feels some kind of way, she expresses it in a noticeable manner. Kat is seen as a rash decision making woman, impulsive if you will, however I see her in a different way. She is a caring, vivacious, woman. She will do anything in her power to protect others, above herself. She’s humble when she needs to be, she will lick her wounds when needs be. Above all, she sees the good in people, no matter how others may view them. She’s a hero for all, and that’s why I relate to her. Kat and I both want to help others, even if it means putting their needs before our own. We want to make people feel better. Kat, has taught me that it’s ok to be selfless, for even those who do not deserve it.
